Galileo Information Center Closing Ceremony

The Galileo Information Centre, which started in December 2020, has been providing information, training and support to the satellite navigation industry in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at industrial, institutional and educational levels.

One of the main targets of the Centre has been to raise awareness of Galileo, the European Global Navigation Satellite System (EGNSS) over the countries covered by the centre.

For the closing event planned for 26 October 2023, the partners of the Galileo Information Centre in collaboration with the Mexican Space Agency (AEM) are preparing a very attractive programme which will describe the activities carried out by the Galileo Information Centre, present the data obtained by the centre on the market sectors that can benefit from the technologically advanced satellite navigation systems of the European Union during these three years, but also are talking about the future and what we are expecting with regard to space issues here in Latin America.

In this session, speakers from leading national, European and international organisations will set the scene before a panel discussion and interaction with the audience.

If you plan to attend in person, we recommend that you register as soon as possible, as the capacity of the venue is limited – Palacio de la Mineria in Mexico City – and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
