Galileo Information Center Closing Ceremony

The Galileo Information Centre, which started in December 2020, has been providing information, training and support to the satellite navigation industry in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at industrial, institutional and educational levels.

One of the main targets of the Centre has been to raise awareness of Galileo, the European Global Navigation Satellite System (EGNSS) over the countries covered by the centre.

For the closing event planned for 26 October 2023, the partners of the Galileo Information Centre in collaboration with the Mexican Space Agency (AEM) are preparing a very attractive programme,

In this session, speakers from leading national, European and international organisations will describe the challenges that the Galileo program has faced in improving the understanding of European GNSS services in the region covered by the centre. Emphasis will also be placed on the achievements obtained, those positive contributions that add value, and generate a positive result, such as the new generations more trained in issues related to EGNSS, the development of new applications based on Galileo and new local and regional initiatives that use . satellite navigation technology,
